Abstract
Charles Ramsay Devlin (1858-1914), over the span of his political career, held seats in the Canadian House of Commons, the British House of Commons, and the Quebec Legislative Assembly. The author focuses on Devlin's career in Quebec provincial politics, where he represented Nicolet from 1907 to 1912 and Témiscamingue from 1912 to 1914. During his career in provincial politics Devlin served as Minister of Colonization, Mines and Fisheries in the Gouin Cabinet from October 17, 1907 to March 1, 1914.
