Abstract
Between 1796 and 1835, the clergy of the St. Gabriel Street Presbyterian Church baptized and/or buried eighty-nine children whose parents were connected with the Montreal-based North West Company (or after 1821 with the Hudson's Bay Company). Almost all of these children were of Métis descent.
