Title
Culture, Language and Self-Assessments of Future Health : Anglophones and Francophones in Quebec’s Eastern Townships
Abstract
An examination of the effects that culture and language have on subjective ratings of health (SRH). The authors found that language affected Anglophones' future SRH more than Francophones. They speculate that youth out-migration (seeing their children leave Quebec) is one reason that Anglophones have a negative view of future SRH.
