Abstract
A study focusing on the destinations and age characteristics of the English-speaking population leaving or migrating out of the eight counties of the Eastern Townships. Between the 1991 census and the 2001 census, 7,945 English-speakers left the Townships. Of these, 4,495 chose a destination in another Canadian province.
