Abstract |
An outline of the Lennoxville and District Women's Centre assessment of the needs of its rural constituency under the Regional Outreach Needs Assessment (RONA) project. The author points out that through the RONA program was able to establish a permanent presence in this region and empowered women farmers to appropriate power and develop strategies to counter isolation, poverty and violence.
