Abstract |
One chapter of the author's study is dedicated to the history of the establishment of Radio Pontiac in the late 1970s. Although fifty-five percent of the population of the West Quebec county was English-speaking, the Parti Québécois government pushed for a predominately French language community radio station for the area.
