Title
Histoire démographique et génétique d'une population insulaire : l'Île d'Entrée
Abstract
Entry Island is a small, treeless island (two kilometres wide by three kilometres long) off the east coast of the Magdalen Islands, home to an English-speaking fishing community, most of whom are of Scottish descent. The island's population, numbering some 200 residents when the author undertook her study, has been in decline since the 1980s.
