Abstract |
Memoirs and letters of Pylyp Andrusyshyn, one of the pioneers who attempted to establish the Sheptycky colony and Studite Monastery in the Abitibi region of Quebec in the 1920s. The colony failed during the Depression. French-speaking settlers took possession of the land and in 1936 renamed the colony Lac Castagnier.
