Abstract |
The American-born Vincent Warren (1938-2017) immigrated to Montreal in 1961 where he became the principal dancer of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. He accumulated a private collection of books, videos and memorabilia on the history of dance, considered the most comprehensive collection of its kind in Canada, which became the Bibliothèque de la dance Vincent Warren, housed in Montreal's École supérieure de ballet du Québec.
