Abstract
Danville, Quebec, a village between Richmond and Victoriaville, was founded by American loyalists from New England who began settling in the area in 1783. Although a predominately an Anglo-Protestant community until the 1960s, Catholics (both French- and English-speaking) began settling in the area in the mid-nineteenth century. The Church of Sainte Anne was founded in the mid-1860s. The author lists the English-Irish names found in Sainte Anne's Cemetery.
