Abstract |
The authors published their first picture book, How to Catch a Bear Who Loves to Read / Comment attraper un ours qui aime lire, with CrackBoom! Books in November 2018. They point out that through an unconventional cowriting process, they created two original versions of the same story, one in English and one in French. Their book was released simultaneously in both official languages, and it was featured in the Montreal Westmount Library’s bilingual Summer StoryWalk in 2019. The authors explain the challenges of cowriting a children's book in two languages.
