Title |
Quebec and South Africa: A Study in Cultural Adjustment
|
Abstract |
A comparison of South Africa and Quebec in the 1930s, and of the cultural adjustment that arises when two societies (Afrikaner/British in South Africa and French/English in Quebec) are brought together in a single political order. Emphasis is placed on how conflicts and antagonisms reflect themselves in the educational systems of these two societies.
