Patterns of Greek Language Use Among Greek Children: A Preliminary Study
Abstract
An examination of Greek language-usage patterns among primary and secondary students of Greek origin in Montreal in relation to parental ethnicity, occupation, and work habits. The author found that the majority of the students studied tended to speak Greek with their parents, but only half spoke Greek with their siblings or Greek friends.
