Title
Study of Provincial and Territorial Measures to Support Official Languages in Libraries in Canada. Part 2: Portrait by Province and Territory
Abstract
Pages 35 to 44 in this report are devoted to Quebec. The author notes that: "Although detailed data are gathered on different aspects of library services, it should be noted that the issue of English-language services and collections (and, more broadly, collections and services in a language other than French) is missing from the profile. Even more surprising is the fact that there are few or no research papers on English-language libraries and English-speaking communities in Quebec, so that the profile presented here required more in-depth research than elsewhere."
