Abstract |
Maude Elizabeth Seymour Abbott (1869-1940) was a Montreal physician and professor in Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Her main area of medical interest was pathology, where she specialized in congenital heart disease, especially in children. She taught in McGill’s Department of Pathology from 1912 to 1935. She was also Curator of the Medical Historical Museum at McGill. The sketch describes her life up to 1889.
