| Abstract |
The authors studied the causal interpretations of wage disparities among linguistic groups in Quebec in the 1980s, and assessed the effects of these interpretations on intergroup relations. They also examined social and cultural dimensions of causal attributions. They questioned thirty-six French-speaking university students and an equal number of English-speaking university students. The average age of these groups was 21 years.
