Lac Magog : Vivre l’été
Abstract
Lake Magog, in Quebec's Eastern Townships, was made accessible in the mid-nineteenth century, first by road and later by railroad. Tourist accommodations, such as the Lake Park Hotel, attracted wealthy Anglophones and Francophones from Sherbrooke, as well as from Montreal and the United States, to the area.
