Abstract |
An examination of the war diary of Percy Jacobson from 1939 to 1945. Jacobson, his wife May, and their son Joseph (Joe) lived on Grosvenor Street in the Montreal suburb of Westmount. Joe enlisted as a pilot in the spring of 1940. He died when his plane was shot down over Germany in 1942. The diary details the life of a Westmount family during the war years.
