Title
Choosing the Language of Instruction for One's Children: A Quebec Study
Abstract
An examination of why some Anglophone parents send their children to French language schools and why some Francophone parents want to send their children to English language schools, circa mid-1970s. The authors examine the implication of these choices not only for the relationships within the family, but also for the establishment of social relationships within the community.
