Title
Goodbye Noblesse Oblige: Quebec Anglos in Crisis
Abstract
The author, a Quebec businessman active in the English-rights movement, considers the options for English-speaking Quebecers in the post-Meech Lake Accord environment. He supports the proposal that Quebec adopt its own constitution, subordinate to the federal Constitution Act, which would recognize English Quebec as a distinct community within Quebec’s “distinct society”.
