Things Which Are Done In Secret
|
Abstract |
Dr. Marlene Dixon (1945-2008) describes the failed attempts to purge herself from the Sociology Department and Dr. Pauline Vaillancourt from the Political Science Department at the McGill University in the 1970s. She charges that the attempts were made for the two women's left-wing political views, not for academic reasons. She eventually resigned from the school.
