Abstract |
Montrealer A.M. Klein's 1944 poem, The Hitleriad, was described by its published as a "clever, biting verse, ...a rousing satirical attack on Hitler and his gang and the things they stand for." The author describes the poem as "a nearly eight-hundred-lines-long mock-epic, a vituperative satire of Hitler and his henchmen written - to a large extent - in Augustan rhyming couplets."
