Abstract |
Dr. Thomas Roddick (1846-1923) was the first surgeon-in-chief at the Royal Victoria Hospital and Dean of McGill University's Faculty of Medicine from 1901 to 1908. During his military service in the 1885 Northwest Rebellion, Roddick co-developed the idea of a "hospital train" to treat and transport the wounded.
