Une voix parallèle de la fin du XIXe siècle au Québec : Sui Sin Far

Abstract |
Edith Eaton (1865-1914) was a Montreal-raised author of Chinese descent who wrote under the name of Sui Sin Far. She later moved to and published in the United States. The author points out that Sui Sin Far maintained no relationship with other writers on the local Quebec literary scene during her years in Montreal. The author argues that that obscurity is typical of how the literary history of the province dealt with marginal ethnic writers.
