Abstract
The author interviewed 28 Anglophones who at the time were or had been members of the Quebec National Assembly to determine why they entered provincial politics, their proficiency in the French language on being elected, their relations with their Francophone political colleagues, and how they balanced representing their constituents, the Anglophone community and their political party.
