An examination of the violent history between 1833 and 1886 in the Irish community in Chaudière-Appalaches, southwest of Quebec City. According to the author, there were five murders in this area, including that of Robert Corrigan (1816 or 1817-1855), a Catholic who converted to Protestantism and was murdered by his Catholic neighbours.
