Qui a peur de Mordecai Richler?
|
| Abstract |
Reaction to Mordecai Richler’s 1992 book Oh Canada! Oh Quebec!, and to his 1991 article in The New Yorker magazine, both attacking Quebec nationalism, especially its anti-Semitic roots. The author believes that there was a racist undertone to some of the published reactions to Richler's satirical spoof of Quebec's language laws and politics.
