An explanation of Montreal's Allied Jewish Community Services' Israel Program as a vehicle to foster Jewish identity among young people. Housed within the Jewish Education Council, the program is a Diaspora activity instrumental in forming the Jewish self-image of young people, particularly the non-traditional Jews who comprise the greatest majority of North American Jewry.
