Would Canada Be Better Off Without Quebec?
|
| Abstract |
Arthur Lower (1889-1988), one of Canada's foremost historians of his day, concludes in this mid-1960s article that English-peaking Quebecers are "morally ad spiritually bankrupt" and that as a collective group are not worth worrying about or fighting for if a separatist, nationalist government should pull Quebec out of Confederation.
