Abstract |
Christopher Huntington was a farmer and Universalist preacher who emigrated from Roxbury, Vermont, to Compton, in the Eastern Townships, in 1804. The author outlines the introduction of the Universalist societies into such Eastern Townships communities as the Marlow Settlement, North Hatley and Huntingville in the nineteenth century.
