Student Attitude Towards School in Quebec English Secondary Schools
|
| Abstract |
In the years between 1976 and 1988, the education system in Quebec underwent a period of change and turmoil, and received negative press coverage as a result. The author found that his survey of 320 Anglophone students from sixteen Quebec secondary schools generally held, with a few exceptions, positive attitudes toward school. Student opinion of secondary school was more positive than newspaper opinion.
