|
| Abstract |
A study of the 1962 Quebec election campaign in which the main issue was the proposal by the incumbent Quebec Liberal Party under Jean Lesage to nationalize the predominantly English-run private hydro-electric companies in the province. The author includes accounts of the campaign in the English-language media as well as in a few "English" ridings such as Westmount-St. George.
