Abstract |
A descriptive study of the post-release employment experiences of forty five English-Speaking male parolees in the greater Montreal area in the early 1960s. The authors' objective was to examine various aspects of the parolees' employment experiences, as well as to describe some of the social characteristics which might be related to employment functioning. Specifically, the authors looked at the parolees' employment functioning (job frequency and length of unemployment), level of employment, level of income, and attitudes towards working conditions.
