Abstract |
The Church of the Messiah is now known as the Unitarian Church of Montreal. The Unitarian church, dating back to 1842 in Montreal, is the oldest Unitarian congregation in Canada. In 1907 the church moved to a new building at the corner of Sherbrooke and Simpson Streets. That building was destroyed by fire in 1987, and most of the memorials and gifts listed by the author were destroyed. The church is now located in Notre-Dame-de Grace.
