Abstract |
A reprint of a letter written by Canon John James Willis to John Farthing, the Lord Bishop of Montreal, describing the founding of an Anglican parish in east-end Montreal in 1907. St. Margaret's Parish was founded by CPR Angus Shop mechanics, most of whom were brought over from England by the railroad company. Tétreaultville was annexed by the City of Montreal in 1910. St. Margaret's Church was destroyed by fire in 1951.
