Title
Keeping the Door Open for Young English-speaking Adults in Québec: Language Learning in English Schools and Centres
Abstract
What can be done to improve the retention and employment options of young Anglophones in Québec? Lack of facility in French is usually blamed for the loss of young people whose first language is English, but the Advisory Board points out that there are other problems facing young Anglophones, such as local economic conditions and the availability of jobs, that are coloured by misperceptions and myths.
