Abstract |
The Scottish-born George William Campbell (1810-1882) emigrated to Montreal in 1833. He joined the medical faculty of McGill University in 1835, and was appointed Dean in 1860. He held the position until his death. The author succeeded Campbell as Dean of McGill's Medical Faculty.
