Abstract |
William Osler (1849-1919), "Canada's most famous physician", transferred from his medical studies at the University of Toronto to the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University in 1870. He graduated from McGill in 1872 and later taught at the university for ten years. The author points out that Osler came to McGill to study clinical medicine, then considered one of the best medical schools in North America.
