La littérature anglo-québécoise vue par les écrivains-traducteurs. Problèmes de définition et d’affiliation

| Abstract |
The author gives an overview of the ways in which contemporary English language writer-translators in Quebec perceive their writing. She argues that the much contested idea of an "Anglo-Quebec literature" is the result of the Quiet Revolution and English Quebecers' awareness of their minority status within the province. She points out that it is argued that contemporary Anglo-Quebec literature can best be described as a dissensual, fractured terrain of conflicting images of self and other, whose specificity stems at once from the underlying translational processes that inform it and its relationship with contemporary French Quebec letters.
