| Abstract |
The author explains the ways in which anti-Semitism has impacted Canada as a whole, and examines most especially its influence on the development of Canada's Jewish community. The author points out that there has been much written on anti-Semitism in Canada, particularly its impact during in the 1930s and 1940s,but that much that has been written about anti-Semitism in Quebec is "superficial and shallow."
