| Abstract |
A political, social, cultural and religious survey of Montreal's Sri Lankan Tamil community in 2005, written on behalf of the Université du Québec à Montréal for its Groupe de recherché interdisciplinaire sur le Montréal ethno-religieux (GRIMER). The author pays particular attention to the Saiva Siddhanta sect of the Hindu religion, practised by a of the majority of the Tamil immigrants in the city.
