Les francophones sont-ils plus ‘xénophobes’ que les anglophones au Québec? une analyse quantitative exploratoire
|
Abstract |
An analysis of data from a 1987 survey of Quebecers' attitudes towards immigration indicates that English- as well as French-speaking respondents did not spontaneously recognize the contributions of immigrants to economic activity and employment. However, the authors report that French-speaking Quebecers have greater than average reservations towards immigration and multiculturalism compared to English-speaking Quebecers.
