Abstract |
A short history of the role played by bankers, especially Scottish-born bankers, in introducing the game of golf to Canada. The first recorded game of golf in Canada was played in Montreal in 1826. The first golf club in North America was the Royal Montreal Golf Club, organized in 1873.
