Abstract |
The author explains group vitality and the Interactive Acculturation model. A significant part of the essay (p. 368-388) involves a case study of bilingual health care in Canada with the focus on Quebec, and a vitality discussion of Quebec's Bill 10 (An Act to Modify the Organization and Governance of the Health and Social Services Network, in Particular by Abolishing the Regional Agencies) that threatened to undermine the institutional vitality of Anglophone Quebec's health care governance and access to health care in English.
