Abstract |
A 28-page thesis, transcripts of taped interviews with Anne Savage, and four sound cassettes. Montreal-born painter Savage (1896-1971) taught art at Montreal's Baron Byng High School for twenty-six years (1922-1948). After she retired from from teaching, she was named Supervisor of Art for the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal (1948-1952). She was also an art instructor at McGill University from 1954 to 1959, and gave lectures at Montreal's Thomas More Institute
