Abstract |
The history of the construction, workings and preservation of the water-driven flour mill in the Eastern Townships village of Frelighburg. Erected on Rivière Brochets (originally known as Pike River) in 1839 by the American-born Richard Van Vliet Freligh (1781-1850), it replaced an earlier mill on the site built in 1790.
