| Abstract |
Pointe-au-Chêne Protestant Cemetery is an unmarked, unregistered Protestant cemetery on a piece of land originally granted to Archibald Campbell in 1810. The first recorded burial was in 1830, the most recent burial was in 1950. Some evidence was found in 1996 to suggest that there are also undocumented burials of Black people from the United States and Indigenous peoples in this cemetery. For many years, this cemetery was called "Campbell Cemetery." The village of Pointe-au-Chêne became part of the province's municipal agglomeration in 2002 and is today part of Grenville-sur-la-Rouge.
