Abstract |
An examination of the effects of Bill 101 on the language repertoire and practice of Greek and Portuguese children in Montreal. The author found that Greek children in both French and English schools used English as the language of peer conversation, while the language behaviour of Portuguese children was largely determined by their language of education.
