|
Abstract |
The author analyzed the values, attitudes, knowledge and skills of forty caseworkers and community organizers who had graduated from Montreal’s McGill University in the late 1960s. Her research instrument was a three-part questionnaire. Part 1 measured the relative weight of theoretical, economic, aesthetic, social, political and religious orientations in the respondents. Part 2 tested the respondents’ attitudes on the nature and function of social work. Part 3 measured opinions, knowledge and skills in different areas of professional concern.
