Étagères et barreaux de fer : une histoire du Morrin Centre
|
Abstract |
Alternately a Royal Redoubt (1712-1808), a common jail (1813-1868), an Anglophone College (1868-1902) and now the cultural and library center of the English-speaking community, the authors point out that the Morrin Centre is the heart of the story Quebec City. This old building reflects the turbulent history of the capital, marking the passage of the French regime to the British Regime.
